DHAKA PARADISE LIONS CLUB

Lions Clubs International started as an organization on June 7, 1917 and its Bangladesh chapter was launched in 1958. It is the world's largest non-political service organization with more than 1.7 million members in more than 206 countries and geographical areas around the world. On 17 August 1992, Lions Club of Dhaka Paradise was formed. The founder member of this club was Md Mobarok Hossain MJF and he is only one District Governor of this club. The International ID of Dhaka Paradise Lions Club is 53598 & Dhaka Paradise Lions Club published a web portal under the leadership of Mohammad Anower Hossain. Currently, there are two Sister Clubs under the mothership of Dhaka Paradise Lions Club. These are Dhaka Paradise Diamond Lions Club and Dhaka Paradise Platinum Lions Club.

Lions are best known for fighting blindness, but we also volunteer for many different kinds of community projects - including caring for the environment, feeding the hungry and aiding seniors and the disabled. Lions also works for sight. By conducting vision screenings, equipping hospitals and clinics, distributing medicine and raising awareness of eye disease, Lions work toward their mission of providing vision for all. They have extended their commitment to sight conservation through countless local efforts and through our international Sight-First Program, which works to eradicate blindness. Lions help during disasters. Together, their Foundation and Lions are helping communities following natural disasters by providing for immediate needs such as food, water, clothing and medical supplies and aiding in long-term reconstruction.

Lions Club sponsored Leo Program provides the youth of the world with an opportunity for personal development through volunteering. Dhaka Paradise Lions Club also sponsors and encourages the youth to actively work for a better tomorrow. Dhaka Paradise Lions Club Sponsored two Leo Clubs. They are Dhakaparadise Leo Club & Dhaka Paradise Green Leo Club. The Lion leaders inspires young stars and provide all the necessary support to function to develop the society and community.

Lions are active. Their motto is "We Serve." Lions are part of a global service network, doing whatever is necessary to help our local communities.
